Foals of 2004,
By Fortune Hunter
"Pure Fortune", out of a TB mare.  OH, this filly is
beautiful!!   She looks like a very elegant mirror image of Fortune
Hunter!  Look at all the white!  She is a "pinto"!  This mare has
thrown some lovely foals by Fortune Hunter and she once again
did not let us down.  We are wanting to keep her as a future
mare for our farm.  She has 3 beautiful gates...yes DAD's TROT!!
And very correct conformation.  A GORGEOUS Top line, neck
and very nice hind end.   Very pleased!  She was sold to our
friend Jonny Brown.   We are sad to report that "Porcia" (New
name) died September 5, 2005.  What a loss.  So sorry Jonny.
Sadly, she did not have a chance to be registered or inspected.
"Fortunes Striptease", A filly, chestnut with a blaze.   She is adorable.
Hoping to get new photos posted soon!  She is out of a pinto Quarter type mare.   Looks a
bunch like DADDY though.   She is a very fancy girl!!  She has grown into a very nice girl!
She scored 77.7 as a 2 year old with AWS.  She has done won in both Sport Horse in Hand
as well as Hunter Breeding.  New photos coming soon!!   She is a dream come true to her
owner, Anne Machlor!   She is headed to the dressage ring with her outstanding gaits.  She
moves very uphill and very correct.  Fortune Hunter improved the top line, legs, neck and
movement.  A fancy girl!!
"Fortunate Twist",  A brand new baby boy born in New
York to Lisa Herman (Dressage Trainer)!  She is thrilled!  Boy,
he looks like daddy!  Lisa says he has very free movement and
is finally "unfolding" from his cramped living space for the past
11 months!  His pending name is "Fortunate Twist!", named
because of his flexibility!   Congrats Lisa!!!  (Just what she
wanted!!)  She will keep us updated with new photos as he
grows!  What a beauty!  UPDATE:  "Twister" is growing into a
fancy stallion!  He is super easy to train, excellent movement and
very well put together.  Will post the owners comments below.
Here is what Twisters new owner has to say about this handsome
boy!

My name is Amy von Scholz. My husband Detlef and I bought "Fortunate
Twist" from my sister Lisa Herman-Decker. He is almost one now, we
have had him since the winter. He is such a dream! What a wonderful
personality and incredible movement! We cannot wait to ride and drive
him. We are confident that he will be a competitive horse and are
considering leaving him a stallion as he is calm and well behaved as
well as fancy. He is so free in the shoulder he floats. Everything is so
easy for him, and does one-tempis and passage and canter pirouettes
in the field. He comes running when you call his name! He loves
people very much. We are so happy that Lisa choose your stallion.
I will send some more mature pictures sometime soon. He is more
handsome as he grows.

Oh I' glad you asked- 'Fortunate Twist' (Twister) is so awesome! He's
about
15.2 and so cute! He is highly intelligent and sensitive and kind. He is
also big-moving, balanced and floaty. He is 18 months now has thus
far been
lunged a few times, ponied off my old horse he lives with, been
round-penned
by a visiting natural horsemanship cowboy who said "I really like this
horse" more than a few times, been in a bridle twice and a surcingle a
bunch
of times, shown in hand at a major Dressage show (quite well
behaved, but in
a funny growth spirt), he went in hand on a trail ride fearlessly, he
jumped
jumps following me and my husband and free jumped all on his own
in the
indoor one day. He is still a stallion and quite manageable. He comes
running when you call him and is just a little dream! I'll take some
recent
pictures for you, haven't taken any all winter, and send them over.
I couldn't be happier that Lisa choose your Stallion. We have plans to
do
many wonderful things with him!
