The West is a perfect place for our farm, our "name sake", being related to the famous "Doc Holliday". Holliday Sport Horses is dedicated to the serious Dressage/Jumper riders and breeders. We have a collection of outstanding mares of various qualities to suit a wide market of public interest. Holliday Sport Horses is composed of a husband and wife team of Jon and Tanya Holliday. Jon and Tanya have been breeding Sport Horses for over 12 years! They both feel they have grown in this field in many ways! Producing many year end National and Regional Champions as well as Inspection Winners, has proved that their breeding program is very serious and successful. Tanya had competed in the Dressage, Hunter and Eventing circle for over 20 years, where she fell in love with the true "Sport Horse". Knowing that it is very valuable tool to have a horse with the kind of mind and talent that can excel in many disciplines as well as WIN in many disciplines is a reward of excellent breeding. This is one of the qualities that she fell in love with in the European Warmbloods clear back in 1987!! Knowing how important it is to the Europeans that a horse excels in all discipline really left an impression on her and she still holds that strong to her breeding choices today. When it comes to breeding, Jon and Tanya both believe that the mare owner is the most important to the breeding equation. So they strive in making the mare owner at ease with the whole process in taking care of their needs. We now use "Jean Simmons" for our collection work! She has been breeding Quarter horses for years, and has been doing collection work and inseminations for mare and stallion owners for years as well. She has super rates and super success rates! The last year for us we have had 100% conception rate on the first collection!
