of the finest stock to the United States including Fortune Hunters Dam "Cindi" , a blood line
that normally doesn't get "let go" from Germany. The Oldenburg Verband Registry had a
hand with the horses that Fiesta Performance Horses brought over and crossed, proving
their success as a breeder. Fortune Hunters pedigree is what the Germans call "Closing the
Gene Pool" , crossing closely related strong improvement lines, to improve the breed
registry and have a strong base of that blood for years to come. This is something that the
Germans practice in average of 1 out of 100 horses. With this, it is proven in what Fortune
engagement and overall movement!
As "icing on the cake", Fortune Hunter has a great happy attitude and is always ready to give
his best, in which he also passes this to his foals!!! Almost, every one of his foals has
received a Gold, Silver or bronze medal at its inspections. He is a TOP producing
stallion----VERY prepotent!! Many judges/trainers/vets, such as, Hilda Gurney-Olympian; Gerd
Zuther -world re known Grand Prix Trainer and Breeding expert from Germany!; Jane
Savoie-Olympian; Kim Hinnamim-shortlisted for Olympics and Vet., Cydney Thurman Vet. As
well as active rider, Tim Tomkinson H/J trainer in AZ, Cherrie Treck (Grand Prix Jumper);

disposition, movement and impression. Nikki has stated that I need to make it known that he
improves legs, top line, shoulder freedom and temperament!! HUGE compliment for any
stallion. For mare owners with Thoroughbreds, he is an excellent consideration. He has
great bone, feet, and top line, that he is strong in passing to such mares.

gaits, willing trainable minds and superb conformation. He has been crossed with multiple
types of horses, with winning results. For example, Fortune Hunter was bred to a Qtr horse
mare that received scores in the mid 50's and the resulting foal received 79.9! This shows
his strong genes for improvement. The Germans knew that "Closing the Gene Pool" would
produce a prepotent horse with important influential blood lines. A horse that has the ability
to correct certain issues because of his enriched blood. He is a very important

Hunter suffered a severe back injury at the age of 18 mo. He was caught in a tornado with
175 mph winds, that threw a portable stall on top of him, while he was trapped in his stall.
We are lucky to have him and he is able to play and have a happy life. Riding time has to be
short, but we still ride him gently on occasion to keep him happy and feeling worth while. He
has the personality of a "Navy Seal"....he has the biggest heart to please and WANTS to work
and learn more than any horse I have ever met.
